Princess for the day!

Our school was issued a challenge to buy 500 books at the book fair. If they students bought 500 books then the teachers would do....My calss voted for me to be a Princess for the day. I searched long and hard until I found the erfect Princess dress with the perfect Princess Court. It was a day to remember! I helped at the assembly and all the girls LOVED my dress, they all wanted to hug me and even the boys wanted to hug a Princess. It was fun and I am so glad I work at such a GREAT school!

Play Ball 2011

This year Hayden, cousin P, and cousin B are all on the same team! It is really fun to watch the boys play on the same team. Hayden started out as catcher (his favorite position) then moved to pitcher. He does a great job pitching and not very many players can hit off of him! Most the innings are 3 up, 3 down! Unfortunately the weather has made it impossobly cold and miserable...bring on the summer!

Mother's Day 2011

Mother's Day was great this year. Harley gave me a pedicure and my toes have never looked better! I got lots of great stuff and am so lucky to have such a great family!

Harley's 2nd track meet

This meet went MUCH better than the first! Harley was bumped up to run the 4 x 100 relay and the 800 meter. She did great in both races and we are so proud of her for working hard on getting faster and improving her running skills. Her relay team did not make regionals, but there is always next year!

Harley's 1st Track Meet

Harley's first track meet was FREEZING COLD and SUPER WINDY! But, the team pushed forward and did the best they could do. Harley was not excited about being MADE to join the track team, however she stuck it out and was able run the 4 x 100 relay. Dave went and bought her new track shoes (with metal spikes on them-who knew?)



After they warmed up and practiced passing the baton back and forth they were ready to get started! Harley is the 2nd leg of the relay. It was a rough start, but she ran her hardest and made up for lost time. We are really proud of her, she worked really hard and is looking forward to next year when she can run with her brother.

Hayden's Opera 4th Grade

Hayden's 4th grade class wrote an Opera about the mountain men. Hayden was cast as a bear (I know shocking right!) He did a great job and sang his part perfectly. The opera was very funny and surprisingly GOOD! The kids worked hard on it and they did a great job! His teacher is amazing!

Hayden's County Report 4th Grade

Hayden did his county report on Duchesene County.  He made a poster, brought a treat (licorice ropes because there are cowboys there), wrote a report, and made a slide show presentation. Then he got to present it to the parents and LPA staff.  I was so impressed with his slide show! It was amazing how he navigated around the lap top. He puts me to shame! Great Job Hayden!
