Munk: MVP of Game 3

If you missed the game Friday night, you really missed a good one! Hayden started the game off at 1st base and made 2 crucial outs back to back. This kid hits the field calm and collected with a focused look on his face. But his dedication pays off when he produces amazing plays in the field.

In the bottom of the 1st inning, Munk came out swinging. He hit the ball into the right field awarding him a double. When the next batter hit the ball, this gutsy #7 raced around third and headed for home. The crowd went wild when he slid into home plate...SAFE! Making the score 8 to 2 Blue Jays.
In the second inning the Cubs didn't have a chance to get some runs due to the placement of Munk on 2nd base. This amazing defensive player crushed the Cubs by getting another 2 outs at second base, stopping the Cubs from getting any points. The talent of this kid is endless. When fans yell from the crowd Munk stays focused and is always in the ready position. What a player. Hayden said is motivation for the game tonight was having his brother, Hunter, in the dug out taking care of his equipment and offering him words of encouragement. The game ended with the crowd roaring and the players smilling, at least the players for the Blue Jays. They beat the Cubs 15-13. During the team meeting Coach Hunt awarded Hayden the "game ball."
